Employment Law Solicitor (Associate Level)

Harper MacLeod LLP

Our growing Employment team is looking for an experienced solicitor to join at Associate level who is enthusiastic, engaging, comfortable with both contentious and non-contentious work, works autonomously and can also lead other solicitors on work.
Your daily work will be varied and challenging. Advising a wide and varied client base, helping to develop new client business, speaking to clients at our popular Employment Matters seminars and helping our clients and contacts make sense of and keep up to date with constant changes in employment legislation and case law developments, will all be within your remit in the firm’s growing and award-winning Employment team.
We undertake complex work for significant public sector employers, advise and assist some of Scotland’s leading private sector businesses through growth and restructuring, as well as helping large third sector employers face the challenges of a new economic and political environment. You will be well placed to support the firm’s varied sectors, delivering employment law advice that is pragmatic, displays common sense and helps our clients achieve their objectives, with recommendations that are based on their risk profiles.
You’ll work for a growing business, which has won more awards than any other legal firm in Scotland, is a place of opportunity and which offers a competitive salary and benefits package. As legal adviser to the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games, we anticipate that the next two years will bring exciting challenges and opportunities for everyone involved, whilst providing you with the ideal opportunity to define your own career path.

Harper Macleod LLP is committed to promoting equal opportunities and developing a diverse workforce.
