TANQ Trainee Summer School 2010

Event Details	The Royal Faculty of Procurators and TANQ (in association with the WS Society) will hold a full-day course of trainees on 19th August 2010. This is a free event aimed primarily at trainees about to commence their training contract. This one day event will feature sessions looking at how to transfer legal knowledge into practical advice and how to enhance communication skills to cope with the demands of being in practice and other general information useful for young professionals commencing their career. Attendees will also benefit from the hindsight of current trainees and newly qualified solicitors who will share their experiences of what it means to be a young professional. They will discuss the expectations placed upon trainees from the outset of their traineeship and how to meet these expectations. An informal question and answers session will allow you to ask them any question – relating to their traineeship! The event is also a great opportunity to meet other new trainees at the same stage in their career and hopefully to keep in touch with after the event. There is no charge for attending this event and lunch will be provided.
