Seminar Details This seminar will deal with how the procedure works, with a focus on how case management and other features will become the norm in ordinary procedure, following the Gill Review. Sheriff Ross has practised as both a solicitor and advocate. He was admitted as a solicitor in 1988 and called to the bar in 1991. His practice was entirely civil law, and focused on personal injury and commercial work. He appeared regularly in the Commercial Court of the Court of Session from its inception in 1994 until 2006. He was appointed a part-time sheriff in 2003 and was given a full-time commission to Glasgow Sheriff Court in October 2006. He is one of three sheriffs allocated to the Commercial Court in Glasgow.
