Seminar Details A presentation in respect of the routes into corporate insolvency from a creditor and company perspective examining the advantages of each in certain circumstances.
This seminar will look at: the statutory framework for - Company Voluntary Arrangements (CVAs); Creditors’ Voluntary Liquidations (CVLs); Members Voluntary Liquidations (MVLs); Administration; and Compulsory Winding up by the court including provisional appointments. And will further provide a comparison of solutions available to - Companies and Directors; Holders of floating charges; and Ordinary creditors.
Alan Munro is a Partner at Anderson Fyfe LLP heading the Insolvency Department. He is accredited by the Law Society of Scotland in Insolvency Law. His main professional interests are in Personal and Corporate Insolvency Litigation, particularly in relation to: creditor petitions; challenges to gratuitous alienations and unfair preferences; and recall of sequestration.
