Seminar Details Talks within the seminar will look at the following topics -
~~Jury Awards - recent awards made by civil juries, ongoing developments and what they mean for the practitioner handling civil claims.
~~PI Cases and Consequences - review of recent decisions in personal injury cases and their implications for personal injury practitioners.
~~Aspects of Catastrophic Cases - the main features of such claims and particular issues of controversy in recent years, including the mitigation of care costs by local authority care and the continuing debate over price and care cost indices and multipliers.
~~The Dangers of Pursuing Personal Injury Law - including how to avoid time-bar; when and when not to litigate and avoiding under-settling claims
