Speaker Lord Bonomy
Seminar Details Lord Bonomy will lead a wide ranging discussion around changes in the law which may be appropriate in the event of the abolition of corroboration.
Lord Bonomy is currently leading a Commission to consider what safeguards can be applied once the need for more than one source of evidence is removed. The Commission is due to report in Spring 2015.
Also in attendance will be Pete McClelland, temporarily assigned from the Lord Advocate’s policy team to the Review.

Lord Bonomy was appointed a Senator of the College of Justice in 1997, sitting in the High Court of Justiciary and the Inner House of the Court of Session from 2010 to 2012. From 2004 to 2009, he was a Judge of the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia.
