Seminar Details Continuing in the series of half-day conferences this conference will examine the following topics –

***A Typical Transaction – from start to finish***
Ann Stewart will look at a number of the changes to day-to-day conveyancing practice that the 2012 Act introduces many changes, starting with missives, proceeding through deeds and procedures to the application stage, post-application requisition and what to expect in the post-registration landscape.

***Advance Notices***
Donald Reid will look in detail at the new Advance Notice procedure, the form and content of notices, who gets them and when, the missives provisions required and the impact on or elimination of the need for letters of obligation.

***Electronic Documents, Electronic Conveyancing and Electronic Registration***
Prof. Stewart Brymer will look at the changes introduced by Part 10 of the Act and will also consider the implications on Conveyancing law and practice.

***Requisitions and Rectification***
Prof. Roddy Paisley will examine requisitions and rectification, which involve practical aspects and knowledge of the law and ultimately are all about and the saving of valuable time. They involve getting it right first time and picking up mistakes.
