Professional Negligence: risk management for lawyers

Seminar Details	Catriona is a senior solicitor based in DWF Biggart Baillie’s Glasgow office. She is a member of the Professional indemnity team headed up by Alison Grant who is one of a panel of solicitors who act for the Law Society of Scotland’s professional indemnity insurers. Catriona acts for professional indemnity insurers in claims against a variety of professionals such as solicitors, accountants and architects in the Court of Session and the Sheriff Courts. This seminar is aimed at trainees and junior fee earners and will discuss the need for professional indemnity cover and the Law Society of Scotland’s Master Policy Scheme, the types of professional indemnity claims which arise in the Scottish Market and risk management.
