How to get more from, and give more to, your Family Business Clients

|Seminar Details||At least 70% of all businesses in Scotland are family Businesses. So it is very likely that lawyers overall practices reflect that number. Yet Family Businesses say that their advisors don’t understand them. The aim of this presentation is to give you the tools to better understand your family business clients, and to use that understanding to improve your standing with them, and identify their needs – which should lead to more work for you, better relationships and happier clients.
Liam is head of the Conflict Resolution Group at WJM, and joint head of their Family Business/Business Families sector team. He is also a consultant with WJMs spin out advisory company, Family Business Solutions Ltd. After years of helping family members deal with the fruits of destructive conflict within the family business, he decided that “there had to be a better way”, and now specialises in helping those businesses get organised for succession and all of the other issues that can threaten the livelihoods of the family.
